Today I’m speaking at the Microsoft Cloud DevCamp in Ft Lauderdale. This event is part of Microsoft’s Cloud Dev Camps tour.
The event will cover the Azure portal (old and new), SQL , Big Data, Websites, Services, Storage, VM’s, and a lot more. Today I will be covering Data topics.
I’m really excited about helping out at this event and meeting people interested in Azure. It’s my first event representing Nebbia Technology, so it’s extra exciting.
About the event:
Learn how to build and move apps to the cloud using the new Microsoft Azure features and services
Here’s your chance to roll up your sleeves and learn about the latest Microsoft Azure development tools and technologies. Join us at a Microsoft Cloud DevCamp with Microsoft technical experts and leave with code running in the cloud! Cloud DevCamps are free and fun events for developers, by developers.
What am I going to learn?
At this Cloud DevCamp you will learn how to use the new Microsoft Azure features and services including Microsoft Azure Virtual Machines, Websites, and Visual Studio 2013 to build and move a variety of apps to the cloud. You will see how to build websites, mobile applications, and enterprise-class applications.
A Cloud DevCamp is a great place to get started with Microsoft Azure development or to learn what’s new with the latest Microsoft Azure features. Developers of all languages are welcome. With Microsoft Azure, you can use practically any language, framework, or tool to build or move existing applications to the cloud.
We will start with the basics and build up to more advanced topics. Instructor-led, hands-on labs will focus on:
– Microsoft Azure Websites and Virtual Machines Using ASP.NET & Microsoft SQL Server
– Deploying Cloud Services in Microsoft Azure
