A couple of weeks ago I made the decision to leave my job at AgileThought. It was not an easy decision but it was one that I’ve been ready to make for a while.
I started at AgileThought in mid-August 2011, so that is just over 3 years. In that time I’ve had the pleasure of working with a great team of developers and customers. I’ve also been able to focus heavily in ALM, which is something that I am really passionate about. I’ve helped grow that practice by attracting some very talented people and providing our clients with the right tools and process guidance. As time has gone by, I’ve realized that my goals no longer align with the company and I’m ready to pursue different opportunities and bring back some agility to my work life.
Throughout my career, one of my constant themes has been entrepreneurship. There were always the side projects, then Yat, M2E, VelociSQL, Two Orange Sweaters, Rkyve, and my Pluralsight courses. So I decided to move on to something new. The last couple of years have seen a huge surge of activity around the Orlando start-up community and I am excited to be joining that. I want to put my expertise in ALM and Microsoft technologies to great use, create great software, see how far I can push cloud computing with Azure, share with the community through this Blog, speaking, events, Pluralsight, work with great people and a lot more.
I will be talking about my new venture in a future post, I am super excited about what the future holds. As my good friend put it recently: “I want to be part of something bigger than myself”.
Stay tuned for Me.vNext!
